Housing works best when it is integrated with great public spaces. Our projects enrich and connect with surrounding neighbourhoods by delivering new public parks, upgrading streetscapes, increasing tree canopies and landscaping, opening new mid-block connections and trails, and limiting car-oriented infrastructure to create safe spaces for people of all ages and abilities.
Rewarding Amenities
Urban living is as much about what happens outside the home as it is about what happens inside. Tenblock’s newest projects include versatile, multi-use amenity spaces that enable residents to animate their lives. For older properties, we are retrofitting and adding amenities where our communities can interact and thrive.
Family Friendly
Children are an integral part of every Tenblock neighbourhood. Our portfolio includes new on-site daycare facilities, and all projects deliver family-sized apartments, child-focused indoor and outdoor amenities, and safe and accessible spaces for families to walk and cycle. And let’s not forget the four-legged family members! We integrate dog spas, relief areas, and pet exercise spaces into every development.
Housing Supply
Toronto’s population is growing fast, but our housing supply is inadequate and falling further behind, threatening our shared economic prosperity and quality of life. At Tenblock we are proud to contribute to the solution by building thousands of new apartments across Toronto for our future resident families and households. Our work also generates significant new capital funds, in-kind contributions, and ongoing tax streams for governments, enabling them to fulfill their critical roles in solving the housing crisis.

Previous generations of our company have been building and managing apartment communities across Toronto for over 65 years, including many of our current project sites. Tenblock is bringing our legacy portfolio into the future by merging cutting edge sustainable & green building practices with industry-leading design and an inclusive, forward-looking approach to urban planning.
